My music magazine appeals to people who like pop and hip-hop music, I came to this conclusion due to my questionnaire results which show that 68.80% of my audience prefer pop music and 31.11% prefer hip-hop. My questionnaire also show that my audience like certain artists more than others which include chance the rapper with 60%, Justin Bieber with 30% and Shawn Mendes with 10%, these are some of the big artists currently dominating the charts and touring around the world which shows my audience follows the charts and trends. My audience are mainly seen as mainstream as they listen and follow the trends of people in the charts.

My music magazine targets teenagers/ young adults aged 16-20, this is shown through my questionnaire with 100% of the people picking this, my audience is 68.89% female and 31.11% male, this is because male mainstream artists normally have a huge girl following due to them being found as attractive to women, however males are targeted to, they fit into the JICNAR scale and C2DE which are mainly students. My artists will be highly into fashion and shop at the mainstream shops such as New look, Urban Outfitters, Topshop and River Island. They would normally follow the trends of the celebrities in the charts and spend their free time going shopping, going to clubs, going out with their friends and going to concerts. Most of my audience will be highly into social media and have twitter, snapchat, Instagram, Facebook and Spotify.

If you were reading this two years ago you would have no idea who this interview is about to be on, but now all you have to do is say his first name and people know who he is immediately. Of course I am talking about Jack Howard. He came onto the music scene in January 2016 and is crushing the charts and music industry with his pop music. Working with some of the biggest names in the industry including Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, Big Sean and Director X.

Jack is a singer songwriter, rapper and Artist with his First album ‘Recognise’ going platinum worldwide with 7 singles. When interviewing Jack, he was very down to earth and just referred to himself as a “Normal Guy” We talked about his life experiences, family and what he has in store in the future. He also has his new clothing range coming out called “Change” with men’s and women’s clothes, he talks about how half of the money he gets from his clothing line will be going to different charities each month.

Hey Jack, it’s so nice to have you hear today, What’s been going on and how are you?

Hello, it’s a pleasure to be here man, I’m here in LA for a few weeks sorting out my new clothing line and finishing up the last designs which I’m very excited to release on the 2nd of April! So get buying ha-ha! But I’m very good, very busy but I’m loving it, not many people can say they do music as a full time job and I’m always grateful.

So you touched briefly on your new clothing line ‘Change’ what can we expect from the clothes, as you have your own fashion style which people look up to so can we be expecting types of clothes like you wear?

Yeah man, I’m definitely channelling myself in these clothes designs, I’m envisioning myself wearing them and if I can see myself in it, I’m making it ha-ha. I’ve actually spoken to a few people in the industry like Kanye and Tyler the creator about any tips they have as they have their own clothing lines and its definitely widened my designs on my clothes. There are men’s and women’s clothes and I’m sure that everyone will like them, I’ve worked really hard to make them perfect and I just hope that comes across. Also half of the profits made from ‘Change’ goes to a charity of my fans choice each month so that’s cool.

Well I can’t wait and I’m sure it will be great! So you released your album ‘Recognise’ on January 4^th and you’ve had 7 singles and its gone platinum! How do you feel?

I honestly—Like—I have no words, I’m speechless, I’m just a normal guy and people are actually listening to my music, it’s crazy! the response on the album was just immense, it’s good to see something that I’ve worked so hard on pay off and others are enjoying it too, my fans have waited so long for an album and I just wanted it to be perfect for myself and them and I’m glad it was.

I’m very happy for you! So as you’re in America was your favourite restaurant?

That’s a very good question! There’s so many amazing restaurants but I have to say out of all the restaurants I’ve been to, in-and out, even though it’s a fast food joint, Its amazing! Maybe I-hop… Such a hard question!

Moving On! Justin just dropped his new album, what do you think of it?

I think it’s amazing, it has such a good vibe to it and every time I listen to it I can’t help but sing along and dance! It’s definitely my go to car music!

Didn’t he help kick start your career?

Yeah! Which still amazes me, I will forever be grateful for that shout out on Instagram! I was on a flight back home and I turned on my phone and it had just blown up with followers and I was like “what’s going on” and my mates had all text me saying that Justin’s just given you a shout out on Instagram. I couldn’t believe it and now were mates which is crazy and he features in my song “Listen” on my album!

That’s insane! So you mention that you’ve been in LA for a few weeks and are here for a few more, do you miss your family?

Yeah of course, I FaceTime everyone every day like my mom, dad, sister, nan etc., I have a really big family and we are all close so I miss them a lot but at the same time I love my job and I’m grateful that I can travel the world and can take them along with me sometimes!

Do you have any future projects that you can tell us about?

Well, without letting you into too much I can say I have a lot of collaborations coming up, obviously my clothing line and also maybe there might be something called a tour coming up but don’t tell anyone ha-ha!
